Transforming the mining lanscape in Ghana.
The Center aims at providing technical and financial interventions to the key stakeholders within the Minerals and Mining Sector of Ghana to improve capacity and knowledge toward sustainable development.
The Centre will develop a comprehensive package of services on managing extractive industries, advising the various Communities and institutions on legislation, policy, and planning, exploration and extraction focused on people, better collection, and management of revenues, and investing in human development and for structural transformation.
Further, the Center shall prioritize the use of advocacy in drawing public support for its intervention that will seek to eliminate illegal mining practices, promote sustainable and eco-friendly mining methods, and restorative designs of mining sites, among others.

01.
Skill Training and Awareness Creation
TACMMSD will run various training sessions with various stakeholders at the local, regional, and national levels. This is to improve coordination among the stakeholders.

Vocational Training
The Center as part of fulfilling its strategy and objective will be focused on empowering the indigenes of mining areas with vocational skills as alternative livelihood programs.
03.
Legal Remedies
In fighting galamsey and enforcing the laws related to mining, the Center shall seek to collaborate with law firms and other organizations to provide legal training for identified groups within the small-scale mining subsector.
